[2nd Edition - MYC] Building Intuitive UI + Officially Testing
Good afternoon everyone!
Welcome back to the journey of building the future of higher ed social media intelligence.
Thank you for following along, and for those that were forwarded this email and chose to subscribe—exciting to have you in the loop! If you're new here, the purpose of this newsletter is to keep y'all informed on what's working & new, and the occasional ask for feedback to help shape the product further.
This week has flown by—large chunks continued to get done. Most excitingly, we are officially deployed and ready for beta testing the research functionality (learn how to sign up below)!

Successfully convinced my CTO to let me deploy the site for beta testing 😎
TL;DR (Too Long, Didn’t Read)

WHAT’S NEW
Publishing UI Complete

Process of drafting a new post
The plan has always been to get as much of the design finished first. I signed up for 8 different content tools & explored how publishing worked. We combined what we felt was the best UI/UX across the board. What favorite aspects do you want to ensure you see?
Tasks, Campaigns, Labels, & Notes
We wanted to take a break from the core functionality & hash out some of the internal resources. For content, we created campaigns (to categorize content for certain well… campaigns), labels (separate from tags we currently are auto-adding, again to help categorize), & notes (reminders for certain days). The first part of content planning is tasks, a way to keep on track & link to drafts/goals you might have. I've started using it internally for keeping a To-do list of tasks for building out the product itself!
CHALLENGES / ASKS
Looking for Private Beta Testers
We're wanting anyone who's interested in testing this out—it will mainly be around only the Research functionality, and as features get added you'll try them out. All that's required is 30 minutes to get you onto the platform, then you'll need to use it on your own and reconnect with feedback. If you're interested, find a time through my calendar.
As always, I appreciate you all for your help so far. I'm very excited to keep this going. Be on the lookout on Fridays for my quick updates.
We're always seeking your valuable advice and feedback. If you have any insights, thoughts, or ideas that you believe can contribute to our growth, we're all ears.
Thank you, once again, for being a part of our journey.
Best regards,
Blake
P.S. If you know anyone who would be interested in our updates, feel free to forward this email. :)
